Privacy policy

Effective August 12, 2026

PipeRule collects no data. Period.

No accounts. The app has no sign-in and never asks who you are.
No analytics or tracking. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, location, or anything else.
Fully offline. Every calculation runs on your phone. There are no license checks and nothing to time out.
Your tape stays on your phone. The running tape and your settings are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
Updates. The only network requests the app ever makes are background checks for app updates: to Apple through the App Store, and to Expo's update service, which delivers our bug fixes between App Store releases. These checks carry no personal information, and the app never needs them to work. We receive only Apple's standard aggregate sales reporting, which contains no personal information.

If any of this ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change ships, and the app's listing will say so.
